Actor Govinda suffers bullet injury as revolver misfires, hospitalized. 

Actor Govinda was confined in a hospital in Mumbai after attempting to depart for Kolkata and accidentally firing his revolver at his leg. The incident happened in around early morning hours, and his manager has confirmed the bullet has been removed, and he is now stable. The actor was proceeding to the airport to catch a flight for the scheduled flight.

On Tuesday in Mumbai, actor Govinda was admitted to a hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the leg in a freak accident with his revolver.

The incident occurred about 20 kilometers away from where the actor was residing. This is how he recounts the episode: The actor was at his Juhu house checking his licensed revolver before leaving for Kolkata. In the morning hours, the revolver slipped from his grip, accidentally discharged, and hurt his leg.

At the same time, Govinda’s manager has reported that the bullet has already been taken out from the actor’s leg and the present situation is stable.

Shashi Sinha paused for a moment. “We were supposed to take a flight to Kolkata at 6 am. I had already reached the airport. This accident took place when Govinda ji was just on the way to the airport after leaving his residence,” the actor’s manager Shashi Sinha has said.

“While in a case, if the issued revolver is not with him, it was in the case when it dropped from him’s hand and one of the bullets discharged which ended in hitting his leg. The doctor has excised the bullet and it is good. He is in the hospital at that point,” he said.

The reporter has confirmed with Mumbai Police officials that Govinda is fine and the injury is not serious. However, ANI reported that he was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Dikshit Gedam, a DCP (Zone IX), remarked that no complaint has been received as no case has been registered so far. This being the case, a file entry will not be done to make any note to inform the police regarding the matter after recording the statements of Nanji’s family.
